It's a standard 125 gallon tank, there are only two possible options in my living room - if the tank were any bigger I'd hire someone to make sure, but with this tank size I feel comfortable with asking the community here.

House was built in the 1940s for reference - standard 125 gallon tank (72x18x24). I've added pictures as well and tried to use Paint to draw where the tank would be going, red = option 1, yellow = option 2

Option #1
On an interior wall
Against the floor jousts
One end would stop in the middle of an air duct/vent

Option #2
On an exterior wall
Parallel to the floor jousts
Front end of the tank would stop over the mentioned air duct/vent

Red = Option #1
The end of the tank would end over this air duct/vent thing. This duct/vent (sorry I don't know the proper terminology) is about double the width of the normal jousting width.

Yellow = Option 2

So the back of the tank would be against a joust but the front end would be on top of this duct/vent.

Lines are just trying to show how the tank would go - this kinda shows just how wide this duct/vent thing is.

I'm not going to make a recommendation, but.......I'll add some perspective. 125 gallons of water will weigh 8.3 pounds per gallons, that's about 1000 pounds. Sounds like a lot, but....

would you feel comfortable having a christmas party at your house, with 8-10 guests? would you say it's unsafe to tell half of your guests to come into your living room and look at a new painting you hung on the wall in there? you and 4-5 of your guests would gather close together, looking at the painting in your living room, with drinks in your hands and christmas sweaters on.......

does that sound like a scenario where the floor would collapse and injure people? Have you ever heard of that happening in your entire lifetime? There are old, wooden, multi-story houses where I live, I've never heard of anything like that happening.

I figure 5 people could weigh 1,000 pounds.......maybe more......

But, I have no clue what 4X4 floor joists in a wooden house can support. Somebody in your area does, though. Find some old contractor, remodeler type guy, who has been running construction crews for years, and ask him--he'll know.

I've seen cars drive over old wooden bridges in the Northeast.....very old wooden bridges. I've seen old wooden barns loaded with hay, on the second story.
