My LFS used to take them off my for $2.00 eatch store credit, last time I went though they only took them for $1.00 eatch SC. Not bad though, for convicts. Ask around, you never know. I can tell you right now no Petsmart, Petco or chain petstore will take them, you're gonna have to go to an independent shop. You might not be able to get money for them though.

thats exactly what I thought.. I already asked 2 places and they said no store credit or anything. I even asked my LFS thats non-chain if they would give me store credit or anything on my midas and they told me that they'd take him but wouldn't give me anything. They told me "people try to give us fish all the time, why would we pay for yours?" It pissed me off but I see their point.

yeah I used to live in Redford and my dad still lives around there. I'm not sure what city but I'm pretty sure he lives in canton too. I know there are a lot of better fish stores down there. My dads friend owns the tropicorium but I have'nt been there in forever and I am pretty sure its mostly freshwater. Let me know if you can find somewhere willing to take convicts, It would be worth the drive.
