Where would you give this fish away...

Well this is my first time on here. So, hi.
OK, so I will just tell you what started all of this.

There is this widow who has been asking me to take her Oscar for a long time. It was her husband's, and she could not take care of it. After months of trying to get rid of it, I decided to take it.

She said the tank was a 55G, which is still to small for an Oscar. But when I went to pick up the fish today, It looked more like a 40G bow front. Terrible >.<

The water had not been changed in 6 MONTHS. Yellow with crap all on the bottom. A teeny filter and a think wall of algae. He was laying on his side and looked dead. We siphoned out the water and put him in a bucket of freshwater....
I did a 100% water change. I know it is bad! But you should have seen the water. I was impatient and frustrated. Oh....I also bought a new filter....that one broke.

He looks good. No HITH or fungus. Actually looks OK.

He is now swimming around merrily. But, THE TANK IS TO SMALL.

I can not get another tank. I apparently have to many already (there is no such thing as to many!).



I know I have to give it away. So my main question is:
Where should I give it away?
I checked with my LFS, but they are out of room.
Where would you give him away to....

I can not get another tank. I apparently have to many already (there is no such thing as to many!).

I think once you got another tank, you would find you can get another tank.

could let him recoup for a bit, then retry the store. but by then everyone will love such an engaging and interesting fish and you will get another tank.
