been looking everywhere for one in or around west bloomfield michigan cant seem to find a place with themm and not really a fan of buying fish online..anyone kno where i can find one

Can your LFS not order one for you? I've seen one for sale at my LFS before that was about 3" so they are around, you just have to keep an eye out. It's not something he said they stock a lot since obviously it's not a fish for everyone because of it's gargantuan adult size.
tntaquatics.com has a short bodied red tail cat for sale right now and he lives down Wayne/Westland. I'm not a fan of rtc's but this one was just awesome, I suggest giving him a call/email asap. He had some wild caught juvies a month or two ago too. He can have you some nice ones by September if he doesn't have any right now.
