is it safe for fish? can they process it?

im no expert and i fully acknowledge that i could be wrong but i remember hearing somewhere fish cant process fats and proteins that come from mammals and i think whey protein comes from milk so my guess would be no

I figured as much, though maybe since it wasn't a meat protein, but a dairy protein it may be different, but I'm an idiot.

what the hell would you need to give whey protein to a fish for?

:ROFL:and in what form?

I had a weird Idea, the owner of the company is a fitness guy, and has a bunch of those big WHEY protein powder tubs. Ingredients are all Whey protein, was thinking of making gelatin cubes with Whey protein, and adding fish oil or something to scent it. Was just a though I wanted to ask about.

That's where I thought you were coming from with your question.Stick with Massivore pellets, everyone says they are like steroids for fish anyway.

I dont know, but... Dairy proteins are not easily digested by many mamals as they mature past the nursing stage. For a fish which is not designed to process milk in the first place, I think the outcome would be bad.

id give them steroids for better faster results.

but seriously, giving them whey protein is most likely a bad idea. just give them lots of live foods like blackworms and powerfeed.

I had 2 oscars and at one point I fed each 10mg per day of Winstrol in tablet form. It didn't kill them like I had expected, nor did the fish grow faster that I noticed.
