How's it going guys? I don't know much about arowana's at all, but I want to get one. I was wondering what kind I would be able to keep in a 150g. Currently I have a large Clown knife, an endli bichir, a red tailed catfish and a tiger shovelnose catfish. The catfish wont be in there for long b/c they're getting too big so they're going into my friend's large indoor pond soon. Thanks in advance.

Any of the species could be kept in a 150g for grow out. All of the species will out grow the 150g tank though.

You wont be able to house any species of Arowana in a 150g tank.
you would have to upgrade to a much bigger one in the near future.
Depending on the dimensions of your tank you can house a juvenile
Arowana around 4-6" for a few good months. For a permanent tank
imo you need a tank 3x the length & 2x the width of a full grown adult.
read up on the stickies in the Arowana section.

Here is a list of "Arowana" species that are legal in the United States
minus a couple or some states where other species are restricted...

Scleropages Jardinii - Jardinii Arowana
Scleropages Leichardti - Leichardti Arowana
Osteoglossum Bicirrhosum - Silver Arowana
Osteoglossum Ferreirai - Black Arowana
Heterotis Niloticus - African Arowana

- Illegal to own in the U.S.A -
Scleropages (_______) - Asian Arowana
[ Scleropages Aureus - RTG ]

My brother had a jardini in a 500 liter tank that grew up to full size, I think that would be the best for your tank
