Which background do you prefer?

Which background do you prefer? Sorry for the crude mockup
Going on a FO SW tank. Painted background.

All would make for nice looking backgrounds, depending on tank and fish type. Definetly blue for salt and black for a planted tank. the gradient will give you a deeper visual effect then the solid.


Edit: Apistogramma Master's tank looks quite nice with the black. so not always blue for salt

Normally i'd say black, but i think that would make the batfish look bad.
IMO blue looks the best.
especially in saltwater

I voted for black, but before I looked at the pic. If those are your fish, I'd do blue.

I think black is good for saltwater and black or baby blue for freshwater

black just makes everything look good in a suttle way.

I voted the Blue gradient. I'd start darker at the bottom, midnight blue, and work up to navy. or black. or just do the whole thing midnight blue. that's what I'm planning for my next tank.
