I'm planning on purchasing this http://www.fishneedit.com/t5ho-4ft--2lamp-aquarium-light.html light once I figure out which bulbs to use. It will be going on my 90 gal eartheater community. There will be no plants. I know nothing about lighting at all and was thinking 2 whites at 10k? Or 1 white / 1 blue ? Not sure which route I should go Thanks

What color are the fish? I'm not familiar with eartheaters... A lot of people will just say that 18000K (Power-Glo temp) is the best color for fish-only tanks, but it really depends on which colors you're trying to highlight.

as far as the T5's go, I found a 10,000k bulb (white) plus the coralife color max is a win for me. The color max bulb dosent have a K rateing on it but its a fairly soft red/pink color that you cant really see but it's just enough to set off the colors in the fish. Here is a pic of my tank with those 2 bulbs.
here is one of the fish close up so you can see the light on him. I cant say anything for the MH's though, never used them.
