Which Canister Sunsun Hw 3000 or Any other, Please Suggest Budget Canister?

Hi Everyone,

I got a new tank 100g (360 Liters), i am looking out to buy Sunsun HW-3000 Canister, If anyone using Sunsun 3000 could you advise if it works properly or should i buy any other Canister Filter (As i do not have much Budget and i live in Dubai so all brands are not easily available here.

I have kept 3 Oscar, 2 Parrot & 1 Arowana in my 100g tank without any stones or soil. Please tell me which canister filter should i purchase? & which Bio Media should i put in Canister?

Hello,
I have used SunSun, they are OK. I had no problem with it but some people have had them leak, so I would just keep an eye on them.
I also would suggest that you will need a much larger tank for 3 oscars, 2 parrotfish (blood parrots I assume?), and the silver arowana. More like 400 gallons. If you can't accomodate, I would sell the arowana and 2 of the oscars. Best of luck

The canister is fine . But the stock is not . No arowana in a 100 gallon please.
In your tank I'd stock a single Oscar or maybe a pair if the tank is 5ft . If smaller than 5 ft I'd get a mix of severums and grow them

I use a sunsun 5000. I have had it leak a few times on me at the worst possible times. I also have an fx6 which I have never had a problem with. I like my sunsun and it works great until it doesn't. I wouldn't recommend it.

its a baby born arowana, i thought i will raise her until 8-9 inches and then probably buy a bigger tank.

If the arowana is so small . I'd rather be safe off the Oscar , they may harm the aro
