which centrodoras is it?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The photos aren't very clear but that catfish appears to have a different shaped head than Centrodoras who have a shorter and more rounded snout.

I've already seen these photos, I tried to notice the differences besides the size, the brachiatus gets bigger, the lateral serration is of centrodoras but I don't know which one

I believe you'd probably have to read the latest genus revision to find out how to tell them apart and even if it is possible for a layman (except the max size).

Centrodoras are found and kept quite rarely in our hobby it seems... and when they are, they seem to almost always be brachiatus, at least nominally. I've never met hasemani. Weak argument but all I have.

ok, thanks to everyone for helping, I live in Brazil and msm here there are no centrodoras, usually only megalodoras, oxydoras, pterodoras and occasionally lithodoras
The Lithodoras is my unicorn.
