Which Cichlid shoulld I get?

Im starting a new 10g tank and I would like to know if you guys can give me a selection of cichlids that would be great for that tank.

There arent many selections of cichlids you can get but maybe goldfish if you like but one cichlid could be a jewel or kribensis MAYBE...

Please don't get a goldfish for your new 10 gallon. They need a much bigger tank.

I don't know much about cichlids, but I have a feeling your options are going to be very limited, if there even are some that would do okay long term in a 10 gallon.

Maybe a small species of tang, depending on what is available in your area.

Definitively not a goldfish of any kind

how do you feel about neon tetras or cardinal tetras or rummy nose tetras?

For cichlids you're kinda limited on a pair of apistos or a trio of shellies (shell dwelling tang african cichlid - I linked their profile on my first post above).

You could do a trio of bolivian rams 1m and 2 f and some corydoras catfish or a bn pleco.

I am sure a betta would do fine in a 10 gallon.

yeah i wqould go with the rams to and i would do a planted set up , maybe a couple of tetras
