Im at the point in the hobby where I have the fishes I wanted to keep as my own to raise already.

Now I would like to get 1 or 2 different pairs to breed and sell...What type of cichlid do you think is in HIGHER demand and would sell:
Pikes
Flowerhorns
Parachromis
Cuban or Texans
???

flower horns will be tricky they have so much genetic diversity that the babies are going to be hit or miss to get a good breeding pair it will take time unless u can find a pair that has the "pure blood line" or that has only the genetic traits that u want. it is not easy to do. i would say go with the cuban. it will be easier to find a quality pair that will give steady results. or u can try your own breeding project and make a fish that u like. i want to do a vieja x texas x king kong parrot and breed till i get the color morph i want.

Do not go with Flowerhorns lol. The chances of you producing high quality fry are very slim.

Koi Angel fish are in very high demand. I believe Festae are too, but they require a very large tank.

You wont find a cichlid that is as easy to sell as angelfish.
Discus or tropheus are worth more per fish but are risky.Very delicate fish.
