Which cichlids do you keep with your clown loaches?

I dont keep any cichlids with my Loaches, but I've heard of people keeping Central & South American Cichlids with them. I would think pretty much anything that likes the same soft water they do.

With my clown loaches I have 2 albino tiger o's ,a7-8" dempsey , an adult firemouth , a gold belly tinfoil barb and approx a 4" black shark also 2 2" flying fox , and they all get along great ! though the clowns were there first maybe thats why no body bothers them ,I've actually seen them cleaning the big fish like what a clener shrimp does to salt water fish ,alot of fun to watch !!!

Just make sure they aren't eating the other fish's slime coat. I'm not sure about clowns, but several loach species are known to do that.

I have two blood parrot cichlids with my clowns. I know it's a hybrid cichlid, but they all just seem to ignore each other.

Mine are with an angel, a curviceps, and an orange chromide

have 1 clown loach with Jack Dempsey Firemouth And Texas Cichlid in my 125 gallon...

have 4 tiny clown loaches in a 20g long getting bigger so they wont get eaten

i am thinking about trying 3 in my african cichlid tank...still thinking it over though

I've seen them kept in Tanganyikan setups for years, although I've only kept CL with my new world cichlids back when I had a more peaceful setup (geos, sev, acaras)

My clowns are with an oscar, sev, and a few species of eartheaters
