tomorrow I have a 90 gallon fish tank coming in with a black wood stand and canopy. Do you think White or black sand would go better?

It depends what kind of fish you're going to put in there. If it's fish where the color of the sand can affect how deep your fish's coloration is (like bichirs) then black sand would be better. but if you're stocking a datnoid tank and have black sand, it might make them turn black and unstable. Personally, I'd always choose black sand unless it's not the right fit for the fish.

yeah i generaly would go with black depednsing on this fish i guess, but usualy dark alwayts looks good. also all the crap and sediment blends in better. everything shows up on white, can drive ya crazy.

:iagree: Black is probably the safest bet, but white has a nice contrast. My friend's discus tank has white sand the colors really POP, IMHO.
