Looks like a widebar to me. If he's yours, I'd also say keep him away from that little clown loach underneith him.

you got me on this one.... I would lean towards indo tiger. but is the other side of the fish identical?

yes both sides are identical, indo tiger does that make it pulcher or microlepis? he has been living with 5 clown loaches for 2 years doesn't touch them.

Both are listed under that name but I lean towards the wide-bar (pulcher) does the first bar (from nape down across the operculum) go across the ventral side of the fish? Pulchers do, microlepis usually do not.
