Which direction

I now know which of my zonatus is male, but I am unsure weather to keep them together as a breeding pair, fairly sure I will have to put a divider in which I don't like doing, or should I go for the original plan which was one male zont and then pack 1/4 of the tank with loads of rock/plants and wood and add a pair of convicts and a group of sd.
Tank is 180 gal, opinions please

Try the cover and dithers route first and keep an eye on things. If it doesn't look like it will work out go from there.

I hate having to use dividers myself, so I would recommend plan A.

Waterchange at the min I ll get some pics tonight, yea think I am leaning towards plan a the pair are already looking a bit worse for wear, thanks for the advice
