I was talking with a friend about this earlier and it made me curious, do you guys spend more time on your fish tank or reptile enclosure? Obviously since I have 20 herps and 2 fish tanks I spend more time on the herps but when I look at it, I probably spend more time on the fish tank compared to an equally sized reptile tank. I was wondering if it was the same for you guys.

I spend about 3 hours on my fish tank a week and about 20 minutes per reptile enclosure each week.

i have a few reps an a few tanks, fish tanks take up alot more time for me anyway

the only reason i spend more time on my reptiles is because of all my damn turtles lol. other wise my only fish is my RTCXTSN in a 300 gallon rubbermaid that basically keeps itself goin with just water changes and filter changes every 2 months.

Claudia, hard core. Its 2 hours about every 3 weeks for fish. 3 hours a week MIN for Claudia. When her enclosure is finally done, it will be at least double that.

probably worth it though, right?

Def worth it. Spring, summer and fall it will be less but winter is just a nightmare. cold so it causes condinsation. Thus mold. so plenty of cleaning.

I spend more time on frogs than fish and snakes combined probably. About a hour a day on frogs, once a week another 1.5-2 hours draining tanks, setting up FF cultures, trimming plants, etc. About 20 minutes a day feeding fish, etc and an hour or so each week changing water. About 2 hours a week total on the snakes between feeding, cleaning, watering, etc.
