Which drift wood

Gonna be making some changes to this tank. I was thinking about removing one peice of dw to free up some space.

Which one would you guys pick ? Im thinking the Malaysian in the left.

Gonna be adding pfs with some smaller grain gravel mixed in

I would keep the one on the left and remove the other 2. Then place that one just off center of the tank.

I may try and stack the two mopani.. that might create enough room i just feel like the tank is all dw

Stacked the two mopanis what ya think...gonna add some small fake plants to the middle after u add the sand and maybe attach some javafern to the dw

i like that way better than 3 seperate pieces.

The Malaysian piece looks awesome and is a keeper. Just not sold on the mopani I like the simplicity of just the one large piece and then use that as the focus and build around it. Need to also get some height going. That is a tall show tank and everything is very short. Stacking the mopani for height does seem to help.

Thanks guys i just got some more fake plants to fill in the empty areas. I like the one peice look too but i wanna give enough territories to squash any potential problems. Have the two plecos and a spotted raph in their too. Cichlid wise i would have been good (just the v. Heterospilus and pearsei)

I think it would look ok once i get the sand in there

i dig the stack, and keeping both pieces. I like natural settings and the tanks with the one huge centerpiece of DW are nice...but definitely look to artsy for my taste in fish tanks. that said, my vote stays with how you have it now.

I like the Malaysian piece better than either of the others, but truly, it almost always makes an aquascape look better imo if you stick with just one type of wood, one type of rock, etc. It helps make it look more realistic and more like a single continuous, uniform environment.
