which feeder ??

You don't mention what you're trying to feed so, here's a generalized answer. If you must feed live, for the moment, guppies (and other livebearers, bait minnows/shiners, and cichlid fry can be used. If bought as feeders/bait, they have most likely not been fed. Gut-load your feeders before offering them to your predators. The nutrients missing in the feed fish will be supplimented by the fresh foods in the guts of the feed fish.
The same gut-loading can be utilized on insect feeders. Allow crickets, mealworms, etc to chow down heavily on a generic community flake and/or fresh foods prior to feeding them out and the nutrients will be passed on to your fish.

As oddball said, guppies are not bad, especially if you gut load them with decent food, even the occassional goldfish or roseyred (from a clean, healthy source) don't hurt (don't use as a staple though). The main thing is to feed a varied diet, fish, pellets, crickets, worms, shrimp, a bit of everything to balance the diet.

Don't forget earthworms, cats love them.

:iagree: whatever you do, vary your diet.

And nice FM on your avatar:thumbsup:

My oscars are fond of crab...

I say gut-load & vary

My black skirt tetras loved crickets.

I have never kept cats, perhaps I will get a few ....
