I have a 75G w/ a perminant black background, what options do i have as far as flowerhorns will go well w/ a black background

all of them...

well hes asking what would do well as far as color goes. id help you out but i have no idea. just add a lot of color in the substrate and such like stones fake plants gravle if you want (i kinda hate multi colored gravle but you could do it if you wanted) but yeah im sure if you made whats inside colorful the background wouldnt do much.

a red dragon flowerhorn with all black gravel sprinkle red gravel only a lil in it... like he said add a few rocks and a nice flourescent light

i had a few RD FH in a dark blue background tank, and right when i took the background out, and right away, their colors got lighter. i have one fading guy and of course he didn't get affected by it... i guess i answered my own question, go w/ a light, fader type FH. :naughty:

lol talk to urself much? yea i have a fader in my tank noa with black background and black gravel

i just like how the reddragon esp twith the snakeskin look...
