Hi im setting up a new 75 gallon tank.

I was wondering which of the two choices below
people here would prefer.

A) 1 Marine land Bio Wheel Filter that does 90 gallons on one side.
(The Store recomends getting just this choice, that or a canister which i dont really want, Canisters make me more lazy. I prefer wet dry if i had the space, but i dont so i like HOB Filter, plus hob filters i just rinse the substitute sponge and reuse)

OR

B) 2 Marine land Bio wheel Filters that hang left and right.
(Reason why i like the two over the one is that i want suction on both left and right sides of the tank, with water flowing out ward oth sides, and since there are more Bio wheels more baceria =D )

Please Vote and opinion

Thanks =^_^=

I use a marine land for 90 gal with my 75, but 2 filters that are 70 each sound like they would do much better.

go with 2 70 gal. filters. Companies always rate their filters for waaay more than what they can filter.

Besides 2 will prevent your tank from going through a total re-cycleing period in the event one filter fails.

I always have at least two filters on every tank; actually, right now I have three filters on each

that way I can stagger my filter maintenance, and always have a back-up filter in case something goes wrong . . .

I agree with the two filters. however I disagree with the filter choice. Have you looked at the Aquaclear line of filters by Hagan?

Redundancy is always a good idea.

Yeah i have, i know Aquaclear has much beter suction and can put more media in it. I mainly want the Marine land for itz Bio wheels of wet/dry opposed to the AC where half the media is sumerged in water and what ever is above the surface doesnt get trickled. All im gunna put in the marine land is a substitute sponge for mechanical. I find find carbon to be a money making gimic fish stores use lol.

Though back in the day i used to be a great fan of AC becuase it was so powerful. =^_^=
