Which filter should I choose?

Hi, I am planning to setup a light to medium planted 150l (39-40 gal) tank with platys. And I need some help trying to decide on whether I should choose the "Eheim Classic 600" or the "Eheim Classic 1500XL". And what do you all think? Any of these filters be fine? Recommendations are welcome.

Plants : Java Fern, Java Moss and Anubias species tied to drift or bog wood. Thanks in advance.

I guess if you are going to light planted and probably non inline Co2 you can just use the classic 600 , the XL is surely overkill but you could add a valve and drop the flow rate.

But of course if budget is no issue, the bigger the better as most of us know that in this journey there wont be only 1 tank.

Thanks skytan13, and yes I am not planning on using co2 injection, just relying on co2 from other sources in the tank. Your opinion and suggestion is valuable to me.
