Which Filter Should I Use?

Hello. I have a 55 gallon tank with two small oscars. The filter I am currently using for that tank is the AquaClear 70. I have a brand new Emperor 400 bio wheel sitting around. I was wondering if I should switch the AquaClear 70 for the Emperor 400.

Also I have a 30 gallon community tank with all small fish. The filter on that tank is just a basic AquaTech. If you think I should change the filter on my bigger tank to the emperor, then I could put the AquaClear 70 on my 30 gallon tank. This leads me to my next question, will the AC 70 be too much for the small fish in my 30 gallon community tank?

I'm not a fan of the emperor filters. If it were my tanks I would return the 400 for an AC110 for the 55 and put the AC70 on the 30.

Okay thank you. I will probably do this but the water on the 30G is so clear that I'm not sure i want to spend the extra money on the media for the AC70 on that tank...
