which filter to use?

So Im setting up a new 20 gal fish and live rock only saltwater tank.

I have a brand new marineland hot magnum canister filter (up to 55 gal) and I just figured out alls I'm missing is one gasket to make it work. In the meantime however I bought a fluval 2 plus (up to 24 gal) underwater filter.

I'm assuming the marineland is better but is it worth waiting and getting the gasket? Or will the fluval be good enough?

I would just use the Fluval

Magnum will have much more bio capacity. Honestly if you can hide the fluval then use both and just use the outlets for more water movement.
