Which filter should I use on my 120? A Rena XP3, a Fluvel1200 or two A/C 110?
Also what type of heater and how many watts should it be for this tank?

Ok. Does carbon even do anything really? I got a HOB filter...I think it's a whisper or something and it has these cartridges that have polyester and carbon in them. Thing is I have to replace them do to how filthy the polyester gets so I was thinking of just putting more sponges in it instead of replaceing the cartridges. Would that make the filter more efficient?ewurm;1106112; said:HOB means Hang on Back. AC 110 is HOB, and that is what I would recommend. Ditch the carbon and run twice the biomax.
