what kind of bottom feeder is good for cleaning algae? that can go with african cichlids (smaller ones) btw they are in a 30 gallon, there is only 2 of them.

Plants :)

ancistrus sp. (bushynose) plecs are the best. some max out at just under 3". either way... theres 55+ species so a lot to choose from too

would rubber lip plecos be good? i cant seem to find bristlenoses anywhere around here. anyone from columbus know where to find them?

The so-called Chinese Algae eater does a real good job. They tend to be a little aggr. as far as scrubbing slim off other fish sometimes. They'er inexpensive, busy, they even have a gold version. And I believe they grow to a size of 8-9" I can't remember the tech. name for it, It's A.Ayonmarii, or somthing like that. You'd be best served to ask a moderator on the tech name... Good luck!

Id go with the bristlenose plec for your size tank.Nothing eats algae better than a common pleco but they get too big for your tank
