Which glue is best for plastic?

My pumps got some water inside and it shut off. I dried it out and it works fine. After examining it I found that where the extention cord goes to the motor, the O-ring moved and water got in. I never ever move my Pump as it is in the Sump and it somehow moved. The extention cord has no pressure so I dont understand but dont care. Just want to fix it.

So.... which kind of glue can I buy from Home Depot?

Pump is in my 50gl Sump

I plan on putting the pump back in the sump (after it dries) and it wont harm my fish?
