Which Gold Nugget?

There's seems to be different info about Gold Nuggets. I know that there are a few species referred to as "Gold Nugget." Which species are usually available within the hobby? And what size do they attain? How are they when it comes to algae eating? I know that some Planque sp. won't even look at algae, so I'm curious if these guys are any good at algae eating.
