is there any hoplias that can be housed in 75g for life or a very very long time and is pretty active?
if anyone can also provide some info and pictures on any species of hoplias that matches above I would be greatly appreciated.

I know ery ery can but I don't want that.

A Mala would be ok. What are the actual dimensions of the aqurium. The secret to keeping wolves active is to not over feed. Keep them slightly hungry and they will be much more active as they think you are going to feed them.

isn't prognatus a variant of mala? probably microlepis too?

probably,is probably.
but for now, they are described as separate species,at least malabaricus and microlepis.

yea I looked into the gold wolf, but I kind of like the shape of hoplias better.

I'll see if I can find anything about prognatus

so prognatus has a blue/greenish tint on the side of the back and gill plates?
they get to the same size as mala?
