My friend is planning to build a diy 400 to 600 gallon aquarium for his silver arowana and 3 tiger oscars... But he is confused between raised wooden pond using pond liner, or plywood tank or normal glass tank...
Which one will last long?

It really depends on his budget if he needs it cheap than raised pond, if he wants to spend a little more time on it and spend some money that make the plywood tank, and if the sky is the limit for budgeting than just go all glass

+1. How long it lasts depends on how well you build it

Ya we planned to built a wooden raised pond... But here we have pvc liner and epdm liners... Which is best? And thickness of the liner?

If you already have the liner then I would just use that. I believe there are plenty of discussions in the archives about which is best between EDPM and PVC liners.

People have added acrylic windows to liner sealed ponds in a few different ways so you could do that or possibly add on in the future. If you think you might add a window I would plan your framing accordingly.
