Which is better to use with SA Cichlids

A regular PH test kit, or a High Range PH test kit?

I feel like a Noob asking this, but I recently replaced my master water test kit an it has both along with nitrate, nitrite, Ammonia.

I know people use High range test for African cichlids cause my friend has Africans in his 220Gal, so I figured Id toss out the question.

never mess with the ph unless u have to i did once and poof they were all gone

LOL!! POOF!! I mess wit my pH...and succeed! Trick is knowin what you are doing. Some SA cichlids like LOW pH and for that you gotta really mess with it. However...the only thing i really am doin wit my pH right now is peat moss and RO water...hehe..nothin too serious. I have well water though that is very basic and hard...so i gotta watch it cuz i keep mostly SA and I want them as comfy as possible. BTW....JungleLab ChemStrips work great!! Color coded...have all u need to know on there...pretty accurate!
