i was just wondering which of these fishes were faster....atf or durado or the vampire tetra...im trying to pick out the faster one so i can throw it with my wolf..hoping it wont be able to catch it

that depends how big your tank is.
a ferrari can't go far inside a garage.
but I have to say the dorado is the fastest.
the atf and vampire tetra pretty much stays still unless spooked while the dorado is constantly on the go.

thing is, the wolf will hit them at night or with the lights out. so speed doesnt mean anything when the poor guy is sleeping
what does it matter, they are food in the end 
why must you make the wolf work for his food!

I once had a redclawed yabbie *I think you usa people call them lobsters* (weirdos!) hehe anyway! I had some minnows with him for ages, I thought they made a bond or soemthing for months they still were near his cave untill one day there was none...

dorados are not just quick, they are tough. In all likelyhood it'll fight with your wolf and win.
i have a 11" dorado in a 240 with a 7" wolf with no problems at all. the dorado pushes the wolf and some very large cichlids around. but really the dorado acts as kind of a dither(for lack of a better term). nothing in the tank fights because they have to watch their tails for the dorado
so if the dorado is bigger then it should do fine right? by the way..what kind of wolf do u have?
