Hey guys,
Got a stocking ? I have a 75 with 4 juvie jds (1x 3.5", 2x 3", 1x 2.5") and 1x 6" red oscar. My final stocking will hopefully be the oscar and 1 jd. They all get along fine at this point. They all appear male and the smallest has the most passive personality. Should I wait to remove 3 of them, keep the smallest etc? How should I decide who stays?

Thanks in advance!

Btw the oscar is the one some of you might remember I rescued from sure death at Petsmart a few weeks ago. He is now mostly healed, eating and much more confident! Its amazing how fast he came around.

i would give it time, perhaps wait and see if any of the JD's begin to have an issue with the oscar. if they do, they're out.

chances are though, the JD will always lag behind the oscar in size, and in my experience the JD just wont start trouble because of the size difference. if thats the case, you could just pick the prettiest of the bunch.

well if your oscar out grows your jd he will probably eat him ??

its good to get a jd around the same size or just a bit smaller
