Which lake to choose...

I am hopefully picking up a 100 gallon this weekend and need to pick a lake to stick with. I want more small fish then less big fish. I want to do a lot of rock work and very colorful fish because this is going to be the show tank in my living room. Is there any lake in particular that matches my wants?

You cold come to my lake, its a secret hole called the lfs. Dont really know if there is one bud considerin that your in usa but postin in the african cichlids section. Or atleast i dont know if theres any in the us with population of african cichlids

I just thought that you couldn't mix fish from different lakes because Of the water requirements. Sorry for my dumb question didn't mean to offend you.

No bro not ofended at all was just jokin and youre right often times fish from differnt lakes need difrent water params. But i personly am not aware of a lake in the us with a population of african cichlids. Could be wrong tho
