I am wanting to do a 10 gallon planted tank (with DIY co2) I was wondering which light to get
a reef light for 50 dollars (its on sale) or a planted tank light for 60
only reason for asking is its more light for less money and plants like light will this be to much light?

sorry I had a error (they use a symbol for there plant lights and on the reef lights) both of the lights are LED for coral was wondering if they would be good for plants to

I know that 10000k light isn't the best the true plant lights (to big for my tank) are 6500k but will giving tones of light counteract that or just grow algae?

I have a 6500 k lights going Pothos in my tank and it grows like crazy. It's a 17watt compact fluorescent twist bulb. I run it 24/7 in my sump. In two weeks the plant doubled in size.
