which live food?

None. Get your Dats on frozen foods, and pellets.
 
ohh my Dat and Bichirs are already on frozen food. I just thought I'd give them a treat, and let the in-laws watch the "hunt". it's prolly gonna be a 1 time thing, so I'm wondering if i should give them 10 goldfishes or like 30 guppies after i quarantine them for a month
 
Dats eating pellets and fd shrimp is already impressive. If its just for a show then it really doesnt matter what you throw in there.
 
I would use goldfish. Would you rather eat chunks of steak or little crumbles of ground beef? ;)
 
you can use brine shrimp or live black worms. if you in-laws love animals it might also prevent you from getting slapped around the head.
 
I like when you feed freeze dried krill....the dats come up to the surface of the water and make that nice popping sound when they get a piece of krill but thats just me.
