Which lungfish is black as a juvenile?

We have one at the store, about 3", and it is pure black. Is that enough to make an ID?
 
spotted african lungfish (P. dolloi) and SAL can both be pretty dark when young. they are both elongate in form compared to the other species, but the SAL has longer fins than the dolloi.--

This fish has very small fins, almost thought it was an eel.

I think it's the SAL is the one with the shorter fins and the P. Dolloi have longer fins just like the rst of the african species which have longer fins.

yes, definitely the SAL has SHORTER fins than the others...don't know what i was thinking when i was typing that, just switched them around :P
