I searched for a while and did not find what I was looking for, so I thought I'd ask. What type of market fish is good to be used as feed for my stock. Have catfish, pbass, bichir,ck. I was using tilapia, then was told that its no good because for poor nutritional content. So what is good, a few different types would be great, just in case I can't find one or the other. Oh, and I am currently trying whiting, its a no go. Just falls apart after being thawed and not sure about the nutritional value.

It depends on what kind of fish you want to feed to.

Big fish like arrowannas, jardini, flowerhorns, or oscars, I feed them frozen shrimps bought from supermarket.

If the fish is big enough, I feed them the whole shrimp head-on shell included.

Smaller fish, I chop them into smaller chunks. They hold up very well, nice and clean.

Hope it'll help.
