This is a list of corydoras i can order, which ones would be the rarest? My guess would be the pulcher because it was 5x pricier than most of the others.
Heres the list:
Aspidoras pauciradiatus
Brochis splendens
Corydoras adolfoi
Corydoras aenus
Corydoras aenus – Albino
Corydoras aenus – Long Fin
Corydoras agassizi
Corydoras arcuatus
Corydoras atropersonat
Corydoras blochii
Corydoras crimmeni
Corydoras davidsandsi
Corydoras elegans
Corydoras habrosus
Corydoras haraldschultzi
Corydoras julii
Corydoras Loxozonus
Corydoras melanistus
Corydoras melanotaenia
Corydoras melini
Corydoras metae
Corydoras paleatus
Corydoras panda
Corydoras pulcher
Corydoras punctatus
Corydoras pygmaeus
Corydoras rabauti sp. Yellow
Corydoras robineae
Corydoras septentrionalis
Corydoras similis
Corydoras sterbai
Corydoras sterbai – Albino
Corydoras undulatus

Most cories, apart from C #'s, and the odd other one arent too rare and can probally be special ordered. So I guess whatever one you like best :D

The rarer ones around here would be

Corydoras atropersonat
Corydoras pulcher
Corydoras panda
Corydoras septentrionalis

But saying cory's are rare is kinda funny. I think I would rather say, those are the uncommon ones around here.

Corydoras pygmaeus

atm I have a trio of these and my LFS can not order them. They have more or less vanished offa the list. I bought the trio and had them on a call list for their next order, I wanted 10 more. and since then he's been waiting for them to hit the list.

=/ very annoying. I think it's also geographical. But these tiny beauties are forever smitting my tank!.. absolutely love the 3 I ave though! keep hoping that I'll get lucky and they'll make me babies one of these days.

why do you want "rare"? Don't you think you should look at their tank requirements (temp, hardness,e tc) and see what would work for you first.

Not sure about the scientific name but these "green lazer cories" around here command a very high price.

His to his own I guess, rare fish are a neat way to make good money when you breed them. You could always find the name of the rare ones see what you can ship in. Research them and figure out which one works for you, and there ya go.
