iv got a 20 long community tank and i was thinking of adding some hillstream loaches. the thing is hillstreams like a good current, and im afraid some of my other fish might not. i can always set up a 10 gallon and remove the non-current loving fish to it to make room for some new additions. so right now iv got a betta, ember tetras, black kuhli loaches, cory cats and a banjo catfish in the 20 (i know, it fully stocked... im aware as iv been told a million times its quite full). which of those would need to be moved to a still water 10 gallon? the betta is obvious but what about the others? oh and the current would be created by my fluval 3 plus, so i wouldnt need a powerhead.

i think only hillstream loaches like fast current

Corydoras should be fine. For the most part, they actually enjoy the currents. The rest though will unlikely be happy with it in the long run so it's a good idea to move them. Replace the ember tetras with danios or Rasbora boraptensis.
