I am looking for the least aggressive of these CA cichlids. I know these are all brutes, but which one would be the least aggressive?

C. istlanum
C. grammodes
P. loisellei
RTM

Thanks!

That would be loiselle or rtm hands down:) and when your looking for those ask for or choose a mellow individual

Loiselli on the average, but each fish has it's own personallity... If I had to bet though I'd say Loiselli.

This sums up my thoughts also.

I have a RTM that seems pretty mellow but I added some new fish (Vieja Fenestratus) and he went berserk on them. Not just normal territory dispute but this is "my tank" and chased them like there was no tomorrow. This from a 3" fish who is no where near the top of the pecking order (Shares the tank with 10" Midas, who happens to be pretty peaceful) My RTM has been in "time out" for a few days so I will release him back with the rest of the fish and see what happens. Ive heard Loiselli are a bit more mellow so if the RTM is too aggressive I may try a Loiselli instead.

rtm's have a very bad temper when fully mature and also have a good set of teeth to go with them and are more aggro than terratorial...the loisellei is way more mellow than all the fish u have listed and is more terr than aggro..but also it depends on the fish its self ...

Thanks for all the help :) Sounds like the p. loisellei would be the best choice. Now I just have to find one. Any suggestions? I checked Rapps site and it looks like he doesn't have them now.

Check the wish list on the vendor page in the marketplace, I believe Ira has a nice male and female still and at a great price:)
