Those three species listed are very aggressive. It all depends on the individual fish. Through my experience, almost all the trimacs I have kept were all nasty.
i wonder how many people have kept all three of these fish to adulthood in a community setting or with other fish to make that assessment, my male trimac although he's only 4" is aggressive but not overly. my zonatus is much more aggressive. like someone said it's all based on individual temperament, i think tank size plays a big part in aggression with trimacs from what i read
Zonatums can be very aggressive. As for the Trimac as he continue to grow he will probably become even more aggressive. My male Dovi was not aggressive until he reached about 7 inches. Now nothing can go in that tank not even a pleco.
