Which one is your favorite?

Which one is your favorite based on color and personality?

Out of these guys -- kenyi, demasoni, crabro, johanni, maingano, yellow lab, red zebra, or yellow tail acei

These are all species I'm interested in keeping. I'm curious to hear from all but especially from those who've kept adults of these and how big were they?

I like yellow tail acei since they are on the peaceful side and work great with haps and peacocks, which mainly what I've kept.

Only keep demasoni in large numbers or a single one, and from personal experience crabros aren't worth keeping if it's a fully sized male because they turn black.

Awesome thanks! I'll definitely keep crabro later on that list then, is it true the crabros get large? I thought I read that they can reach 8 inches or something.

Awesome! I can dig it, peace and comfort are a plus when it comes to cichlids i believe.
