alright i neeed to get a new piranha and ive had blacks in the past but ive heard elongs are as mean or meaner than blacks, for your personal opinion which are more active and aggressive?
As far as activity I would say elong was a lot more active and vicious when eating as it was more of a ripping type motion, but my rhom was just a lot bigger so would take big bites out of its food. I loved my black piranha and regret getting rid of it. He would finger chase, and I think the dark rhoms have the best appearance, but to each their own.
i see what u mean but was the elong a finger chaser or was it afrade of ppl? and could u keep anything with the elong bc i kno i couldnt keep anything with my rhom
Just be careful when moving those big guys! I have heard some horror stories in the past. Golds are pretty cool and they get big and their bodys somehwat elongate by the mouth.
Ive had two different elongs and neither were overly aggressive. It really just depends on the fish I have had large rhoms that where skiddish and I finally have one now that isn't afraid of me and will eat out of my hand . So I would just pick a type is piranha you want and hope it gets comfortable with you
