Which one would you get and why?

Im thinking about getting one for the future, but due to space I can only pick one! Which one would you get and why?

Swamp Eel or Lungfish (the larger ones)? Reasons?

I especially would like to hear from people who have had both of these monsters!

I'd go for the lungfish... No idea why. But they are just so cool.

I love the Protopterus Aethiopicus.

not a big fan of the swamp eels but i would probally own one but first choice is the lungfish..

I've owned both, an annectens and I currently have a 9" synbranchus marmoratus.

I like the swamp eel a lot, it moves around more than most lungfish, eats a LOT, I always see it eat, and it's a funny fish.

Tough as nails too, it's 9", barely thicker than an earthworm and it survived an all night escape the other night.

I find it all dried up, stick to the tiled flooring, I couldn't prise it off, I had to splash water on it.

I put it in a bucket to wash it, and it started furiously swimming around, alive and well.

Both it's eyes were cloudy, now they are fine, and it started eating again the very next day.

In short, I like both but I'd recommend a swamp eel. A cool very touhg fish, and not as many people seem to have swamp eels as they do lungfish.

Lungfish all the way. It might be because thay've out lived the dinosaurs by a few million years.

i pick the lung fish bc first i have never had a swamp eel and dont know much about them and second luckfish just look sweet, they get big and live long and there awsome to watch

aussies lung are a good choice, but with a hefty price tag.
