I was wondering which variety of eartheater to get, i already have Geophagus Brasiliensis and my lfs has got Satanoperca Daemon or Geophagus steindachneri like the look of both but can't make my mind up. So just wanted to know what you guys reckon and your experiences of both. Thanks

a lot of people keep one Brasiliensis with some of the more aggressive cichlids such as GT, JD, salvini, etc. they can be quite aggressive and territorial but ive also read about some that are quite well behaved and play reasonably well with others. heard more about them being aggro than not though.
be prepared to remove any other geos should you choose to go ahead. generally geos are quite peaceful but Brasiliensis seems to be the black sheep of the family.

If it's going in with the brasiliensis, do not get the daemon. The red hump could probably hang with them, but deffinately not the daemon.
I've got two Pearls at the moment both juvi's one is going to a friend when they get thier tank back up. I've got a spare 55g with just some lemon tetras and was thinking of putting them in there? So they would be the only geo's in the tank
I'd go with steindachneri....cool looking with an equally cool name. 
plus for a 55 I think they'd be better suited as if I recall correctly they don't grow as large as satanoperca
