I like DRFostersmith until I saw their shipping prices. Pretty expensive for online item purchases. Then other stores try to make up for their low prices with outrageous shipping. Who has the lowest shipping you know of?

dr. fosters shipping is expensive if you only buy one small item. but the shipping is very good when you have a large order
I am using dr fosters solely now after a little mishap with big als and what they call a "return policy"
Big Al's prices suck more and more by the day. They used to be really good, but I've since taken my business to MarineDepot.com, DrsFosterSmith.com and KensFish.com (AWESOME prices).

It depends on what you are buying.
I have purchased everything for my 300g so far from Big Al's.
From my background to my Eheim 2262 and Eheim Media.
The only thing DR FosterSmith had cheaper than Big Al's was the Stealth
Heaters. But after paying lower shipping cost's at big Al's, I saved the extra money
on the Stealth's. So all and all, I saved a ton of money at Big Al's over what I would of paid at Foster Smith's.
Big Al's lighting fixtures are cheaper to. They beat Foster Smith on there AllGlass and Perfecto Dual strips by almost $20.00. Plus, Big Al's has a extra 10% savings on that.
I have had no issues with Big Al's and I will continue to shop there.
I just ordered 2- 36" dual deluxe light strips and 4 bulbs and shipping was $13.00
Add in the 10% discount Big Al's gives you and I saved $16.00 on my order.
So basically shipping was free and I save 3 bucks on the order that was already $40.00 cheaper than Foster Smith.
Just my 2 cents.
