I buy a tank for channa gachua today and i want build it up today and then just let it run for the next 3 weeks, before i will put the fish into it.

Which plants can you advice me for that?

Pretty sure snakeheads are very illegal in Atlanta bud. ;)

Plants don't care about ammonia, etc from an uncycled tank. Not really sure what you're asking.

Your lighting will determine what type of plants will work best. In a low light aquarium plants like anubias, java fern, java moss, najas, bolbitis, etc. will do well, but are not really fast growers. In a highly lit aquarium practically any plant will suffice. Water sprite is one of the fastest growers and an easy plant to start with.
