My tank has 3 polys: a 3.5" sen, a 4" albino sen, and a 4.25" delhezi.

So far, the delhezi is by far the most active. It's constantly swimming around the tank and near the front glass. The other two just sit around on the substrate under or behind rocks and driftwood. Perhaps they'll get more active as they get bigger?

So what's your experience? Which of the smaller species do you find most active?

Most people find Sens to be the most active. Upper-jaw species in general tend to be more active than lower-jaws. Of course, there are some exceptions to that.

mine are all active in spurts. ornates, sens, and palmas palmas seem to be the most in my tank.

I've heard a few people saying their Endlis are most active... I guess there is an exception. ;)

Well each individual bichirs have their own activity level and also there is a certain age of bichir that it will become active or inactive. Depend on their mood. Also starvation will aslo make them active if they are in a big tank. Instict will tell them that they need to move to find food or stay and die of starbvation.

So, feed less?

I would have to say Sens are the most active from my experience.
