With a 1" bulkhead, what pumps should I use?

A 1" bulkhead should dump a little less than 600 GPH per what I could find on the net, correct?

Quiet One Models:
3000 - $60.00 - 40 watts/hr - Listed as roughly 580 GPH at 4' head which would seem to be about right
4000 - $80.00 - 50 watts/hr - Listed as roughly 680 GPH at 4' head which should be strong and need restricting

Taam Rio HyperFlow:
12HF - $45.00 - 40 watts/hr - Listed as 630 GPH at 4' head which would seem to be about right
17HF - $65.00 - 55 watts/hr - Listed as 840 GPH at 4' head which should be strong and need restricting

Mag Drive Pumps: (as recommended by Fish Freaks)
MD9.5 - $100.00 - 93 watts/hr - The most expensive and listed as 800 GPH at 3' head which should equate to about 600 GPH at 4' head

Okay, here's my thoughts and questions:
1. The Mag Drive is supposed to be the best and the price reflects that. However, it's watts/hr is huge and the next smallest unit from them doesn't seem like it would be big enough. This pump would cost roughly twice as much to run every month saving a few dollars each month. If it's really THE pump to get, I'll do it, but I really want to make sure it's really the right one.

2. Barring the purchase of the Mag Drive, which of the others would you guys recommend? Quite One pumps are a few dollars more and supposed to be a bit better. Any thoughts?

i bought the 17hf as i was looking for power/watts

Quietone 3000...

I have been using a quiet one 4000 in my w/d filtering a 125 for 5 years now with out any issues. All the pumps you mentioned are good just pay attn. to the watts/gallons pumped, The quiet one specs are the best for energy usage.
